How to Measure

1.Bust
Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust, and keep the tape level and flat against your back. Wear the bra you plan to pair with your cheongsam while taking this measurement.
2.Waist
Measure around your natural waistline. Find the natural crease of your waist by bending to one side, which is the narrowest part of your torso, and wrap the tape horizontally around this point. If needed, you can also measure around the fullest part of your lower abdomen.
3.Hips
Stand with your feet together naturally, and wrap the measuring tape horizontally around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks.
4.Cheongsam Length (Shoulder to Hem)
Stand upright naturally. Starting from the midpoint of your shoulder seam, measure straight down over the fullest part of your bust to the exact position where you want the cheongsam hem to end. For floor length or fishtail cheongsam styles, please measure straight down to the sole of your foot, and inform us of your shoe heel height.

5.Shoulder Width
Keep your arms relaxed at your sides naturally, and measure the straight horizontal distance between the indentations of the shoulder joints on both sides. You can also wear a well fitted T shirt and measure the distance between the two shoulder seams as a reference.

6.Shoulder to Apex
Starting from the midpoint of your shoulder seam, measure straight down to the highest point of your bust, which is the bust apex.

7.Apex to Apex
Keep the measuring tape completely parallel to the floor, and measure the straight distance between the two bust apex points.

8.Shoulder to Waist
Starting from the point where your neck meets your shoulder, measure down over the fullest part of your bust to the narrowest part of your natural waistline.

9.Back Width
Keep your shoulders relaxed naturally, and measure the straight horizontal distance between the two armpit points across your back.

10.Armhole
Starting from the top outer edge of your shoulder seam, wrap the measuring tape all the way around your armpit to complete a full circle measurement.

11.Bicep
Keep your arm relaxed and hanging naturally at your side. Wrap the measuring tape all the way around the widest and fullest part of your upper bicep. Do not flex your arm while taking this measurement.

12.Neck
Wrap the measuring tape all the way around the base of your neck, where a choker necklace would normally sit. Place one finger between the tape and your neck while measuring to leave comfortable room and avoid a tight fit when wearing the cheongsam.
